Big news for Rancho Peñasquitos! A brand-new Vietnamese spot, Pho G-Beef, is gearing up to open at 13297 Black Mountain Rd in the Rancho Peñasquitos Towne Center. This exciting addition is taking over the space previously home to Yenchim Garden Restaurant, whose owner recently retired.
According to Pho G-Beef’s owner, Ms. Tran, the restaurant is tentatively set to open on January 10, 2025—though that date might shift a bit. When it does open, diners can look forward to a menu packed with pho options, Vietnamese entrees, and tasty sides. There are plans to serve alcohol too, pending the approval of a liquor license.
Pho G-Beef is in a prime spot, with no other Vietnamese eateries in the area. The closest options are all the way in Mira Mesa, so this place will fill a much-needed gap. While nearby favorites like The Original Sab-E-Lee and Aaharn56 Thai Cuisine are fantastic for Thai dishes, Pho G-Beef will be serving something completely different.
