The Story Behind Chick & Hawk

This isn’t just another fried chicken spot—Chick & Hawk is a labor of love between a world-class chef and a skateboarding icon. The idea was born in 2020 through a shared passion for food, culture, and community. After a series of successful pop-ups and some unexpected delays, they’re finally preparing to open later this year in Leucadia’s historic Fulano’s building. Expect bold flavors, skate-inspired vibes, and nostalgic 90s design for a dining experience like no other.

📍 Where: Shoots Fish & Beer, Carlsbad Village
📅 When: Sunday, March 16 (until the sandwiches are gone!)

This is your shot at tasting Chick & Hawk before it officially lands. Come hungry, bring your friends, and be part of the buzz. See you there! 🐔🦅
